Loudoun County Chamber Announces 32 Finalists for 2009 Small Business Awards; Winners Will Be Announced at the November 5th Gala Awards Dinner at Lansdowne Resort
Leesburg, VA - The Loudoun County Chamber announced today the names of the 32 finalists selected to compete in eight business categories for the 2009 Small Business Awards.
On November 5th at Lansdowne Resort, the winners in each of the eight categories will be announced before a packed room of more than 500 county business and community leaders at the Annual Gala Awards Ceremony.
For the first time in the Small Business Award history, the public is encouraged to cast their vote to help select the winner from each category. Voting will take place online through October 8th.
The 32 finalists were selected by blue ribbon committees of business leaders and industry experts, who carefully examined more than 239 nominations from the best businesses and entrepreneurs that Loudoun County has to offer.
"Just to be chosen as a finalist for Loudoun County's premier business honor is a tremendous honor. The competition for the Small Business Awards is incredibly fierce, with 239 of the most dynamic, innovative and successful companies in the region striving to earn the most prestigious recognition for business excellence in Loudoun County," said Chamber President Tony Howard.
The 2009 Small Business Awards are sponsored by Middleburg Bank, Charron Consulting, John Marshall Bank, The National Conference Center, Dave Trosko Group/Smith Barney Morgan Stanley, to name a few.
